You have to build it in the largest possible scale.
Anything less would be a waste of time. Disregard the fact that you could show as much or as little skill in the smaller size as the larger. Set aside the cost factor and the encroachment on domestic space after it is completed. This is scale modelling and you are not doing it to have fun!
And remember that the manufacturer has gone to a great deal of trouble to upscale his original 1/72 design to 1/16. Pantograph machines do not come cheap, and the steel for the larger moulds must be paid for by the end-user. And think of the trees that went to make the larger box – you are eco-responsible – if you don’t buy the kit a beaver dies.
Disregard the rumour that the next trend in scale modelling will be the 1/12 Mustspitschmitt kit. This would be encroaching into the scale territory of the doll house ladies and they are very protective of their Victorian parlours and country kitchens. You rile one of them and they’d have your fingers off in a second.
